Back in 2004, During the 2nd innings of West Indies vs England test match at Lord's, Tino Best came to the crease.

The way he was batting prompted a sledge from Andrew Flintoff:‘mind the windows, Tino’. 

Best promptly charged down the wicket, missed the turning ball and was stumped.

If he had just kept his cool and played that ball out, he could have survived, and maybe even helped Chanderpaul score a century.

Having faith in one's abilities is one thing, but overestimating it and making the failure certain is another.
