Often leads to procrastination.

After struggling for ages, you finally get a chance to prove your worth. What comes next? Fear.

Whether I'll able to do justice to the task or not, whether I'll be able to finish off within the time frame, whether I'll be able to find that elusive magic touch.

And suddenly a host of other activities pop up. House needs to be cleaned, clothes need washing, dog needs to be walked, body needs rest.

Finally, there's no time to finish the work at hand.

What to do in these situations?

I don't know. I'm going to take one step at a time, an not give in to any of these allies of fear.

I'm going to start. Whether I succeed or not, it won't be because of lack of effort.
